Desktop Application Sharing with a server

Company’s background – Provides more than traditional accounting, auditing and tax services. Thrives on solving problems, reducing tax liabilities, easing the financial audit process, managing and planning for growth, and preparing for the future.

Business challenge – DoUrBooks have multiple clients and each accountant was working with their own client portfolio. To ease the accountant’s tasks at the time, each client had their company file stored internally on the accountant’s computer. The accountant had to take care of back ups and managing the company file which represents a high risk for DoUrBooks. Another problem that surfaced was that each accountant had different accounting software and even a different version making centralization impossible even harder for backups.

How did MyQuickCloud help – After a brief phone conversation with MyQuickCloud, who quickly understood our IT challenges. They suggested that we purchase a small server to be able to centralize our data and information. After quickly setting up our server, we’ve migrated our data and applications to the server. MyQuickCloud has allowed us to upgrade our IT infrastructure easily and dramatically improve our working habits by having every accountant sharing the same accounting software version. With MyQuickCloud we have successfully centralized our data and unified our applications, which has allowed our firm to improve our workflow and productivity. We now offer a better client service as our accountants can team cross work and even work remotely from multiple locations.
For us, MyQuickCloud allows us to improve our way of working by being more efficient. In other words it’s a great all-in one IT tool which allows us to manage our server easily without have an IT professional on site.
