It’s time to save the date if you haven’t already: The SBA will be celebrating National Small Business Week from April 30 – May 6, 2023. Co-hosted by SBA resource partner, SCORE, this weeklong observance recognizes the hard work, ingenuity, and dedication of America’s small businesses, and celebrates their contributions to the economy. This year marks the return of in-person awards ceremonies in Washington, D.C., for the first time since 2019. See the list of winners in your communities.
National Small Business Week also includes a free, educational Virtual Summit from May 2 – 3. This online event is packed with business workshops, networking opportunities, information on federal resources, and insights from expert speakers geared toward entrepreneurs looking to start and grow businesses. Sessions will cover several key topics including:
- How to write a business plan
- Cybersecurity
- Navigating small business growth in the age of artificial intelligence
- Digitizing payments
- The future of commerce
- And more!
In between sessions, attendees are encouraged to explore free resources, take advantage of no-cost mentoring, make new connections, and get inspired by small business success stories.
The SBA can’t wait to honor America’s 33 million small businesses at National Small Business Week 2023.
